Programming your weather radio

It’s always good to make sure that your weather radio is properly programmed before the threat of storms. The radios are designed to hold their programming even if you lose power. However, it will not keep the time. Don’t worry, the time doesn’t need to be set correctly for the radio to work properly.

Chief Meteorologist Matt Miller explains some more things you’ll want to do to make sure your weather radio is up and running for the storm season.
