Some University Of Kansas students are collecting money to help victims of the Boston Marathon attacks.

Even on a cold Tuesday, students donated money that will eventually be sent to the American Red Cross.

Since about 9:00 pm Monday night, Kait Perry, with help from some friends, has raised more than a thousand dollars online and at this table on campus.

One student dropped off $100 while we were there.

Perry says she’ll collect cash until Friday and then send it to the Red Cross.

Money collected on line at www.crowdrise.com goes directly to the Red Cross.
