The Kansas Museum of History provided an educational experience today, holding their annual History and Environmental Fair.
The event teaches fourth through sixth grade students how nature and the environment have shaped the world we live in. The fair featured more than two dozen hands-on activities and displays.
Students learned about the evolution of the light bulb and even how to power up a television by “pedal power.”
The fair was sponsored by the Kansas Historical Society and the Shawnee County Conservation District.
