SALINA, Kan. (AP) — It’s unlikely that a Salina woman will ever top her first trip to the circus.

Jenna Krehbiel was attending the Isis Shrine Circus on Saturday at the Salina Bicentennial Center when she needed a bathroom break.

When she walked into the bathroom, she found a tiger standing about 2 feet away.

The big cat escaped briefly after performing for the circus. Staff members blocked off all entrances where the public could come into contact with the tiger and it wandered into the bathroom.

The Salina Journal reports (http://bit.ly/11eq218 ) Krehbiel used a door to the bathroom that hadn’t been blocked off. She stayed calm and walked out.

The tiger was returned to its cage a short time later. No one was injured.
