$1 Million Powerball Prize Remains Unclaimed

Kansas Lottery players are encouraged to check their Powerball tickets. One ticket sold in southwest Kansas for the January 26, 2013, drawing is worth $1 million and remains unclaimed!

The ticket matched the first five numbers, winning the $1 million cash prize. The winning numbers were: 3-22-26-41-49 Powerball 18.

The 24 counties in the southwest region, where the ticket was sold are: Greeley, Wichita, Scott, Lane, Ness, Rush, Hamilton, Kearny, Finney, Hodgeman, Pawnee, Stanton, Grant, Haskell, Gray, Ford, Edwards, Kiowa, Morton, Stevens, Seward, Meade, Clark, and Comanche.

Because of its security policies, the Kansas Lottery does not disclose the name and address of the retailer where a winning ticket is sold until the prize is claimed.

Players have 365 days from the date of the drawing to claim a prize. The winning ticket can be claimed at Lottery headquarters in Topeka or the Lottery’s office in Great Bend. To view a complete list of unclaimed prizes, visit Unclaimed Prizes.

Among the unclaimed prizes are four prizes set to expire in May. They are a Keno prize worth $2,000, which was sold in southwest Kansas and expires May 14; a $10,000 Hot Lotto prize sold in northeast Kansas, which expires May 26; a $2,000 Super Kansas Cash prize sold in northeast Kansas, which expires May 28, and a $10,000 Powerball prize, also sold in northeast Kansas, which expires May 30.
