Mulvane Mountain/Plains Art Fair set for June 1 and 2

“Spin with Art” is the theme for the Mulvane Art Museum’s 21th annual Mountain/Plains Art Fair June 1 and 2 on Washburn University campus.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 1 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 2.  Tickets are $6 at the gate; children 12 and under are free. A $1 coupon is available through the Museum’s website at washburn.edu/mulvane. All proceeds benefit the Mulvane Art Museum’s education programs.
Eighty-five artists from 15 states will display paintings, drawings, prints, photography, jewelry and work in fiber, glass, wood, bronze, steel, ceramics and textiles. In addition to a food court, families can enjoy hands-on art activities in the children’s tent.

Saturday, June 1
11 a.m. – 1 p.m.:  Pastense

1 – 3 p.m.: The Wrights

3 – 5 p.m.: Kenny Smith

Sunday, June 2
Noon – 2 p.m.: Pastense

2 – 4 p.m.: Kenny Smith
