Fire crews are at the scene of a reported fire at the Kansas Juvenile Correctional Facility in north Topeka.The call came in just before 7:45 Thursday morning at 1430 NW 25th. Early reports indicated smoke and flames coming from one of the buildings. There was also a report of a partial roof collapse on one of the buildings at the complex. There are no reports of any injuries. Kansas First News has a crew on the scene and will have updates at they become available.
A Kansas Department of correction spokesman says the fire is at an abandoned building on the west side of the juvenile corrections complex, facility is not on lock down.
