A Topeka assisted living community hosted a special themed breakfast Thursday morning.
Atria Hearthstone put on a purple pancake breakfast to raise money for the local Alzheimer’s Association.
Now in its second year, the “Paint The Town Purple” fundraiser featured the colorful blueberry pancakes as well as bacon, sausage and coffee, all for a suggested donation of $5.
Atria Hearthstone has donated more than $10,000 to this cause over the past years for the Alzheimer’s Association.
