Graduation held for Hope Street Academy seniors

Nearly four dozen high school seniors are ready to make their move from the classroom to the workforce .

Forty-six students walked across the stage Wednesday morning at Hope Street Academy.

The senior class heard from USD 501 Board President Patrick Woods and Superintendent Julie Ford.

Other graduations for the district will get underway on Saturday.

Ceremonies will be held for Topeka High, Topeka West and Highland Park on Saturday.

On Sunday, graduations will be held for Shawnee Heights, Seaman High and Washburn Rural High School.

All weekend ceremonies will be at the Kansas Expocentre.
