Topeka Police investigating unrelated incidents

Wednesday night at 9:45pm, Topeka police officers responded to a 911 call of a subject being threatened with a knife. The call originated in the area of Morse and N. Topeka.  Upon arrival officers located a female victim with a non-life threatening stab wound in her car at Grant and Jackson.  The male suspect had fled the area on foot.   The female refused medical treatment at the scene.

Just before midnight, officers responded to the area of 24th and California on a report of an injury accident hit and run.  Upon arrival officers located a male victim who advised a known female had rammed his car in attempt to injure him with a child in the car.  The child was taken to a local hospital by AMR for evaluation.  The suspect had left before officers arrived.  At 01:21 hours the suspect called police and was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries.  Detectives are conducting interviews at this time.
