Kansas Expocentre SMG announced its partnership with six area high schools to provide live video streaming of their 2013 commencement ceremonies. The exercises are set for this Saturday and Sunday in the Expocentre’s Landon Arena.

In addition to KansasFirstNews.com, individuals unable to attend in person will be able to view each event from http://www.KsExpo.com, as well as the school districts’ websites, and from the live streaming website http://www.ustream.tv at the channel named “Topeka area high school commencements.” The broadcasts will be recorded and available on Ustream for three weeks following the ceremonies.

“We’re very excited to provide this service for the schools,” said H.R. Cook, Kansas Expocentre General Manager. “We’ve had people asking us for several years if commencement would be available online, and now we can make it happen. This is huge for family members who can’t be here.”
