The American Cancer Society turns 100 years old
On Wednesday night, the society’s Topeka office celebrated with a volunteer fair and open house.
Those attending could learn about the variety of volunteer opportunities available.
The American Cancer Society is a global grassroots force of over three million volunteers.
Its efforts have contributed to a 20 percent decline in cancer deaths in the u-s since 1991.
