Active-duty military personnel and their families can get into 2,000 museums across the country for free.

The National Endowment for the Arts made the announcement in the nation’s capital about it’s fourth annual, Blue Star Museums program.

The free admission will be from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

It includes a handful of museums in Topeka, Emporia and Manhattan…including the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library’s Alice C. Sabatini Gallery, Richard Howe House Welsh Farmstead and KSU’s Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art.
