The Sacred Heart – St. Joseph parish is hosting a great Topeka tradition- Germanfest June 1-2 to support the Holy Family Catholic School. German food, music and fun all weekend.

Germanfest is a celebration of German heritage at Sacred Heart-St. Joseph Parish in Topeka, KS. Come join us for authentic German food and music, contests, auctions, drawings, games, inflatables, and much more! Germanfest is open to the entire community (not just those stubborn Germans!). We hope to see you there!

Fancywork (Embroidered Tea Towels, Lap Quilts, Quilt Drawings, and more)!!
***German Food*** 2 buffet lines in the church hall serving an authentic, homemade,
German Menu including Sauerbraten, Pork & Sauerkraut, Krautstrudels,
German Potato Salad, Noodles & Sage Balls. Also serving delicious Fried Chicken,
Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Green Beans, Rolls, and delectable Desserts!
12-1 pm Skimpy Dozen Polka Band
12-2 pm Bingo (great prizes)
1:15-2 pm The Hayden High School Band
2:30 pm Oral Auction. Our very talented wood craftsmen have again made beautiful wood pieces and, by popular demand, we will auction off a “Beverage and Snack Party for 20” with Fr. Tim Haberkorn in the St Joseph Rectory backyard!
We have many additional new and gently used items.

• Rides via satellite parking from the North end of BNSF parking lot, at Seward Ave and Chandler St.
to Sacred Heart Church grounds, Seward Ave and Freeman Ave in Oakland:
Saturday 3-4 pm & 5-11 pm; & Sunday 10 am-5 pm.
