Governor's Flint Hills Freedom Ride

Enjoy a 90 mile ride through the scenic Flint Hills with Governor Sam Brownback on Saturday, June 1st. Money raised benefits the Kansas Wounded Warrior Fund and Brothers in Blue.

Registration starts at 8:00 a.m. on the south lawn of the Capitol. Get a group photo with the Governor at 9:30 a.m. The ride takes off at 10:00 a.m.

The group will make fuel stops in Eskridge, Alma and Alta Vista. At 2:00 p.m., Brownback will honor military families at Council Grove High School. There’s a bike show, games and entertainment after. It’s a family friendly, alcohol-free event that’s open to the public.
