2 killed in wrong-way crash near Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) — The Kansas Highway Patrol says two drivers are dead after a wrong-way collision on Interstate 235 in southwest Wichita.

The crash happened around 7:35 a.m. Tuesday when a southbound car crossed the grass median and collided head-on with a northbound pickup truck.

The patrol identified the driver of the southbound car as 27-year-old Nicholas Richard Oswald and the pickup driver as 32-year-old Adam Charles Hutchinson, both of Wichita. No passengers were in either vehicle.
