Topeka Police responded to the Kwik Shop at 1700 SW Topeka Blvd. early this morning at 1:07 in reference to a vehicle striking a pedestrian.
It was discovered that an argument had occurred between several females on the lot. One of the females then got into a car and allegedly drove the car intentionally at the three females and struck one of them.
After striking the victim the car continued into the Kwik Shop building causing approximately $2000 worth of damage.
Monica A. Johnson, 32 of Topeka was arrested a few hours later for aggravated battery, aggravated assault, child endangerment and criminal damage.
The victim of the aggravated battery, Lanisha Blation, 34 of Topeka, was taken to a local hospital by AMR with non life threatening injuries.
The other victims of the aggravated assault were Shanita Huggins, 33 of Topeka. A juvenile was alleged to have been in the car driven by Johnson and was not injured.
The Kwik Shop employee on duty was not injured or a victim.
