Police chase ends at hospital, house struck by gunfire

Around 10pm Tuesday night  Shawnee County deputies responded to a disturbance in the area of 2920 Virginia.  Deputies reported hearing gunshots in the area upon arrival.

Fifteen minutes later a SSO deputy located a possible suspect vehicle,  a white Cadillac in the area of 18th and Indiana.   Topeka Police were responding to assist the deputy when the driver of the Cadillac initiated a pursuit.  The pursuit was terminated in the Stormont Vail parking lot and the passenger of the car was found to be suffering a non-life threatening gunshot wound.  The driver was taken to the LEC for Detectives.

There were no injuries reported at 2920 Virginia however the house had been stuck by gunfire.

Detectives are currently conducting interviews and follow up at this time.  More information will be released at a later time as the investigation continues.
