Monday was a landmark day for the Beechcraft Corporation as it handed over the keys to the new owners of a very special aircraft.

The company’s CEO and employees gathered in a large hanger to watch as the new owners took delivery of the 4,000 Model 36 Bonanza.

Beechcraft CEO Bill Boisture says that this aircraft shows Beechcraft is still building planes that companies want to buy.

He said that he believes that more small and medium sized companies are looking at aircraft like the Bonanza as a way to help increase sales and their company’s public profile.

The Beechcraft Bonanza is the longest continuously produced aircraft in history.
