2013 Kansas Hall of Fame Laureates items on display

Some items representing the 2013 Kansas Hall of Fame Laureates are on display.

The exhibit at the Great Overland Station opened Tuesday and features a life-size James Naismith, replica armor that Superman’s Kryptonian father wears in the upcoming movie  “Man of Steel”, and an original sketch by Superman’s co-creator Jerry Siegel.

The exhibit will run until July 14th.

This years laureates are the band Kansas, Doctor James Naismith, the First Colored Kansas Infantry, Doctors CF, Karl and Will Menninger and Clark Kent – Superman.

They will be inducted into the hall of fame June 21st at White Concert Hall in Topeka.
