The City Of Emporia is celebrated an achievement Thursday, being named the city with the “Best Tasting Water In The World”.
It comes from The 24th Annual Berkeley Springs International Water Competition.
It’s the first time the city has entered the competition and topped four previous gold medal winners.
At the ceremony, Governor Sam Brownback was presented with a bottle of the winning water.
