Ottawa police are calling in outside help to figure out how a woman died

At about 9am Sunday morning  officers responded to the 900 block of south Cedar and found the woman in an apartment building.

The 29-year-old has been preliminarily identified and her family has been notified.  A name has not yet been released.

Officials launched a comprehensive investigation to determine the cause of death… and an examiner from Kansas City and the Franklin County Sheriff’s office is helping with  the investigation.
