Topeka police say a man is in jail after he allegedly stabbed a man late Tuesday night

At about eleven Tuesday night  Topeka police responded to a report of a stabbing in the 31 hundred block of south East Mareta Circle.

The victim and witnesses identified the suspect as William Guice.

Officers say they found a man with non-life threatening stab wounds when they arrived.  The victim and witnesses were able to identify the suspect as 22 year old William Guice who had  left the scene..
About 30 minutes later  police say they found Guice’s car at 23rd and Massachusetts.  He was taken to the LEC  for questioning and then transported to the Department of Corrections.
The victim was taken to a local hospital.
