Kansas senior Andrea Geubelle helped the Jayhawks claim the NCAA women’s national championship. Now, she has a national title of her own as Geubelle won the triple jump at the U.S. Track and Field Championships in Des Moines, IA.

Geubelle took top honors with a mark of 46-00.50 (14.03m). She will also compete in the women’s long jump on Saturday.

As a top-three finisher, Geubelle will have until July 20 to achieve either the ‘A’ (14.40m) or ‘B’ (14.20m) standard to become eligible for the World Championships in Moscow.
