Some country music stars are taking to the stage for one of the biggest events to hit Manhattan.
The country stampede started at four Thursday afternoon.
It’s a four-day concert that has some of country music’s favorite artists.
People come from all over Kansas to check it out and as far away as Oklahoma, and Nebraska.
Some of the acts set to perform: Jason Aldean, Little Big Town, Jake Owen and Miranda Lambert.
The event also brings in hundreds of food, drink and clothing vendors.
This jam session will go until this Sunday.
Concert goers say this event tops them all.
Though it is a good time, Riley County Health officials say a big problem they deal with every year is de-hydration.
They urge people to drink lots of water if attending.
