Operation Kids Camp is the mission over 100 kids are on in Salina this week.

The camp is led by 50 volunteers at the National Guard training center.

The camp lasts five days and four nights and is sun-filled and action-packed.

You may even see squads playing random rounds of “Duck-Duck-Goose.”

But, there is a much more meaningful message being taught each and every day.

One of the camp directors says the purpose of the camp is to teach the kids what their military member does.

The campers return home on Friday.
