This last Monday, July 15, 2013, at approximately 10:30 a.m., Shawnee County Sheriff’s Officers seized 110 pounds of marijuana from a white Chevy Lumina bearing an Arizona license plate.
Contact was initiated in the Burger King parking lot located in the 6000 block of SW 10th street.
The following suspects were booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections with charges of Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and No Drug Tax Stamp:
Nicholas C. Taghipour, 26, of Easton, Maryland
Nicholas M. Verdusco, 18, of Tucson, Arizona
Cameron L. Gentry, 19, of Tucson, Arizona
Raymond S. Doyle, 20, of Easton, Maryland
Aaron P. Doyle, 27, of Laurel, Delaware
The DEA is assisting with the investigation. The incident is still under investigation.
