A motorcycle accident caused eastbound I-70 to slow to a crawl.
Around 5:15pm Wednesday, crews were called to the highway between Fairlawn and Gage for an injury accident involving a motorcycle.
According to the highway patrol, a SUV stopped and the motorcycle ran into the back of it.
The driver of the motorcycle was taken to the hospital for non life-threatening injuries.
Eastbound traffic was backed up and officers diverted traffic while they worked the accident.
All lanes were re-opened by 6:00 pm.
