A strike might be in store for Goodyear Union Workers.
They’re in the middle of contract negotiations and both sides have not come to an agreement.
There’s no picket sign painting quite yet but there is talk of possible actions but for now it’s a waiting game for nearly 1,600 Goodyear Union Employees to see if they get what they want.
What they want is to see a change in wages, company agreements with health care costs, a change in pensions and to let new employees be eligible for vacation time.
The current union contract ends on Saturday night at 11.
If a contract is not voted on or approved by then, members could either strike or there will be a lockout.
A United Steel Workers Union spokesman says they are hoping for a fair contract.
The last time the Goodyear United Steel Workers Union went on strike was in 2006. It lasted for 89 days.
