The 7th Annual Miracle Marathon for Kids Radiothon started this morning at the North Topeka Walmart.
From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. today through Saturday radio personalities from Country Legends 106.9 will be sharing stories of how the Children’s Miracle Network hospitals program at St. Francis is helping children and their families.
Donations are being accepted at any Topeka Walmart during this time, children are especially encouraged to bring in spare change to donate.
Last year the Radiothon raised more than $100,000 and has brought in almost $600,000 since the program started.
This years total will be announced Saturday at 6 p.m.
