Some Topekans are getting a leg up in life thanks to the efforts of the “Topeka Moving Ahead Program or T-MAP.
Kansas Legal Services hosted a graduation ceremony for the 70th graduating T-MAP class at The Great Overland Station.
The three grads learned various skills, received help with finding permanent housing and completed real world internships.
The T-MAP program helps to provide help to hundreds of people who experience homelessness by offering employment training, legal assistance and other help.
