Governor Brownback has announced he will hold a barbecue Tuesday evening at Cedar Crest after legislators return to the Capital City for a special session.
Reporters are invited to this dinner after private dinners last year were thought to have broken the Kansas Open Meetings Act.
The governor called lawmakers back to the Statehouse last month. Elected leaders say work will focus on making adjustments to the state’s Hard 50 law and the senate will review appointments made since the legislative session was adjourned earlier this summer.
