Osage Co. Sheriff’s Office seeks help in solving auto thefts

The Osage County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for assistance for help in solving the continued burglaries and more auto thefts in Osage County.  Also reminding citizens to take the keys and valuables out of your vehicles and lock them.

The following vehicles have been stolen in the last couple months:

April 23, 1989 Chevy one ton truck, south of Burlingame

June 10, 2 ATV’s, 149th & Urish

July 30th, 1996 Dodge Ram pickup, SE of Burlingame

August 11, 1969 green Army truck, 149th & Urish

August 22, stolen vehicle east of Burlingame, recovered in Topeka

August 31, Paulen Road & US56, 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe SUV

September 3, stolen vehicle from Scranton, recovered in Topeka

September 6, 144th and Topeka Ave, 1994 Ford F250 red and white

Please report any strange or suspicious activity to the Osage County Sheriff’s Office at 911 or 785-828-3121.  You can contact Osage Crimestoppers at 1-877-OS-CRIME with information leading to the persons involved in these crimes or the location of the stolen property.  You don’t have to leave your name.  A reward of up to $1,000.00 can be paid for information leading to the arrests and/or conviction.
