One Topeka Bank is out some cash, while Topeka Police search for a man in connection to the robbery yesterday afternoon.
Around 2:45, Topeka Police Officers were called on the report of an armed robbery at the Kaw Valley Bank at 3000 SE Croco Rd. inside the Phillips 66.
Police say the man approached the tellers, said he had a weapon and demanded money.
He left the scene with an unknown amount of cash. Police say he’s a white man wearing a blue ball cap and gray jacket. He was seen leaving the area in a blue late model Toyota Rav-4.
No one was injured in the robbery.
