On Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at approximately 9:20 p.m., the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Dispatch received a report of a robbery in St.Mary’s.  The victim, a pizza delivery person for Gambino’s Pizza, St.Marys reported that while he was delivering an order in the 800 block of Willow street he was approached by the suspect who was on foot. The suspect ordered the delivery person (who had gotten out of a vehicle to deliver a pizza) to put the pizza on the ground and hand over his delivery money.  The delivery person initially refused to turn over the money however the suspect then produced a knife, walked towards the delivery person yelled at him to give him the money.  The pizza delivery person gave up the money and the suspect fled without further incident.  The money bag did contain an unspecified amount of cash and a check.  It is believed that the suspect in this matter placed the call for delivery in order to set up the robbery.
