Stay tuned to the weather late this afternoon and this evening for the threat of severe storms. We are tracking a powerful cold front into the area between 4-8pm. Thunderstorms will ignite along this front and bring us a risk of hail and damaging winds. Luckily, the threat of tornadoes is low. Heavy rainfall is expected with many areas receiving 0.5 – 1.5″ of rain.
The storms will continue through the evening hours and end by Friday morning. We are still tracking in nice and comfy fall weather for your weekend. Stay tuned to Kansas First News for any watches or warnings that are issued later today.
