The Boys and Girls Clubs of America’s National Youth of the Year is from Wichita. Kiana Knolland was announced yesterday while representing the southwest region. Knolland was introduced at a congressional breakfast by Wichita congressman Mike Pompeo. She is currently a freshman at Howard University in DC.
It is said she will represent Kansas and the Boys and Girls Clubs youth exceedingly well. This is the second year in a row a Kansan has won this national title.
