Some area middle school students got a lesson on bullies yesterday.

Seventh graders at Washburn Rural Middle School heard from David Crooks, an anti bullying speaker.  Crooks speaks from personal experience, he was bullied as a middle school student and is a former youth minister at an area church where he worked with bullying issues. He has been part of Washburn Rural Middle School’s anti-bullying efforts for the past several years.  One of the teachers at the school says Crooks’ message hits home with students.
