Crews pulled out a car out of Lake Shawnee as divers continue looking for evidence in a 2012 murder.
Topeka Police say the car is unrelated to the Corey Brown homicide investigation.
Police aren’t discussing what authorities are looking for.
No word if Douglas County divers found any evidence related to the case so far.
40-year-old Monroe Eugene Lockhart III is charged with first-degree murder in the death of his friend and business partner.
Lockhart also faces a felony arson charge in Shawnee County.
Lockhart already was serving a nearly 10-year sentence for a home invasion when he was charged in Brown’s death.
