Hundreds rallied at the Statehouse yesterday marking the 41st anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion across the country.
They came from all around the state and walked from the Topeka Performing Arts Center, to the south steps of the statehouse.
That’s where Governor Sam Brownback and U.S. Representative Tim Huelskamp spoke to the crowd. Both Brownback and Huelskamp are advocates and talked about how young people are the “pro-life generation.”
Since the RoeV.Wade decision was made, Kansas has enacted a number of restrictions on abortion.
