Multilple house fires overnight in Topeka

Overnight fires kept the Topeka Fire Department busy in the cold weather Wednesday morning.

Fires were battled at 1269 Southwest College, 4812 Southwest 18th and 509 Southwest Buchanan.

The house fire on College started around nine Tuesday night and took fire fighters about an hour to put out. There was one person home but they were able to make it out safely and call for help.

Another house fire on Southwest 18th started a little before two Wednesday morning and as of 4:30 crews were still on scene.

The homeowners and their pets were able to make it out safely. Investigators believe the fire started in the attic.

The house fire on Southwest Buchanan was reported a little after two Wednesday morning. Fire fighters were able to clear the blaze by 3:30. No one was reported home at the time.

No injuries were reported at any of these fires.
