TOPEKA, Kan. – Citizens interested in commenting or providing input on the City’s form of government are invited to attend one of the two public meetings sponsored by the City of Topeka’s Citizen Government Review Committee.
Meetings are scheduled as follows:
1 p.m. and 7 p.m., February 20, 2014
Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library

Duties of this five-member committee, recently appointed by the Mayor and City Council, are to review the form of government of the city and make recommendations to the governing body for amendment or modification. They will issue a report including areas of concern, general findings relative to those concerns, and specific recommendations for alleviating concerns or problems.
Members of the public not able to attend the meeting may send written comments to the Mayor’s Office at 215 E 7th, or by e-mail to email@example.com. Comments will be distributed to the committee members and become part of the meeting records.
