Strong winds from the north and a narrow band of sleet have caused numerous wrecks on I-70 west of Topeka between Manhattan and Junction City and has made travel extremely difficult.

Storm Track Meteorologist Kyle Borchert has been tracking this weather coming into northeast Kansas all morning and has reported numerous cars in ditches along the interstate.

Borchert reported several ambulances and police vehicles traveling up and down the highway.

There are no known injuries at this time.
