A high school female teacher has been suspended with pay for getting too close to a student.
It happened at Horton High School in South Brown County. The USD 430 School District and local law enforcement are investigating allegations.
The district’s superintendent says someone notified the high school principal saying there had been inappropriate contact between the teacher and a student.
Students at the school told Kansas First News the boy involved is a sophomore.
Superintendent Steve Davies says these sort of actions are unacceptable and says next he will meet with the school board to discuss what should be done to address this issue.
