Kansas City, Mo. – Keuna Flax was named the MIAA Player of the Year on the All-MIAA team released today by the conference office. Lane Lord, whose Pittsburg State team is on a 12-game winning streak, was named the MIAA Coach of the Year.

She earned unanimous first team honors as did Pittsburg State’s Lizzy Jeronimus, Fort Hays State’s Kate Lehman and Emporia State’s Laura Patrick. Dominique Mosley of Missouri Southern joins them on the first team as Flax, Jeronimus and Lehman all repeat the honor from last year.

Lehman was third in the league in scoring and averaged a double-double with 16.8 points and a league leading 11.4 rebounds per game. Patrick averaged 14.2 points per game and was ninth in the league in scoring and led the league in three-point field goals made. Mosley was sixth in the league in scoring averaging 15.3 points per game and was 11th in the MIAA in rebounding.
