Bruins skate past RoadRunners, force game three

TOPEKA, Kan. – The Austin Bruins jumped ahead of the Topeka RoadRunners midway through the first period and took a 1-0 lead into the first intermission.

Another goal from the Bruins made it 2-0 before the RoadRunners got on the scoreboard with a goal early in the second period from Jake Kamrass. The Bruins added another goal to take a 3-1 lead into the final period.

Austin went on to beat Topeka 6-4 and even up the best-of-three series at one game apiece.

The deciding Game Three will be Sunday night at 7:00pm inside Landon Arena.
