Fire destroys two barns in Geary County

JUNCTION CITY, Kan. (KSNT) – The Geary County Rural Fire department received reports of a possible grass fire just after seven Monday morning at 11737 Clarks Creek Road.

The Junction City Post reports (http://bit.ly/1fKnzI0) when crews arrived on the scene they discovered two barns on fire.

The fire leveled both barns and damage is estimated between $15,000 and $20,000.

The State Fire Marshals office was called in to investigate and the cause of the fire has been ruled accidental.
