Area players drafted in 2014 MLB Draft

Three baseball players from Centennial League high school teams were drafted in the 2014 MLB Draft.

Tyler Baker graduated from Shawnee Heights, and just finished up his junior year at Wichita State. He was drafted in the 15th round by the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Eric Cheray graduated from Seaman, and just finished up his junior year Missouri State. He was drafted in the 17th round by the Oakland Athletics.

Cody Schumacher graduated from Hayden, and just finished up his senior year at Missouri State. He was drafted in the 36th round by the St. Louis Cardinals
