The Flint Hills Discovery Center in Manhattan has officially opened it’s new ‘Ice Age Imperials’ exhibit, which will run until Sept.14. The exhibit is located in the 3,000 square foot space on the Center’s second floor, and will feature a rare opportunity for visitors to ‘touch’ the Ice Age.

Visitors will get the chance to interact with real fossils from ancient animals and learn about creatures like wholly mammoths, saber-toothed tigers, and sloths that roamed the earth at the time. The exhibit displays large dioramas, interactive displays, and educational components intended to help answer questions about how today’s animal life compares to its extinct Ice Age relatives and the history of the earth.

Admission is $9 for adults, $7 for military, and $4 for children aged 2-7.
