Topeka man pleads guilty to carjacking charge

TOPEKA (KSNT) – A Topeka man will be sentenced in October after pleading guilty to a carjacking charge.

Twenty-nine-year old Shaun Lee kendall pleaded guilty in federal court Monday.

He and his co-defendant allegedly threatened a driver to steal a truck.

Kendall will be sentenced on October 27th. He faces up to 15 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.

His co-defendant Michael Richard is awaiting trial.
